Getting Started

Submitting an online application is easy and completely secure. Having the following information ready will help minimize the time you spend completing your application:

  • Your social security number
  • Your Beneficiary's (future student) social security number
  • Your Beneficiary's date of birth
  • Your Successor Purchaser's social security number. As the Purchaser (owner) of a prepaid tuition plan, you must designate a Successor Purchaser. This person will have access to account information and will take control of the prepaid tuition account in the event of your death.
  • Your selections for the type of prepaid tuition plan, the number of semesters you wish to purchase and the payment option you intend to use.

Important Information

No prepaid tuition benefits may be used until three years after the first payment due date and all prepaid tuition accounts must be paid in full before benefits may be used.

You must read and agree to the terms of the Disclosure Statement and Master Agreement before purchasing a prepaid tuition contract. Your contract consists of this application, the Disclosure Statement and Master Agreement and the Participation and Payment Schedule that will be mailed to you after the application is processed.

Each prepaid tuition contract can have only one purchaser (owner) and one beneficiary (future college student). You will need to submit a separate application for each beneficiary if you are purchasing a contract for more than one child.


In order to qualify for contract pricing in effect between November 1, 2016 through January 17, 2017, applications must be submitted no later than January 17,  2017.

Making Payments

No payment is required when you submit an application. Contract payments begin or will be due depending on when you submit your application:

**Applications accepted during these months for newborns only.

If you’re planning to make monthly payments, it’s easy and free to have your payment withdrawn from your bank account each month. You can provide account information during the application process to set up automatic monthly payments.

Although no payment is required when submitting an application, during the application process you will have the option to make a one-time payment by credit card (American Express, Discover or Master card) or by an automatic withdrawal from your checking or savings accounts. Convenience fees will be charged for these payments.

Saving or Retrieving an Application

After completing any page of the application, you can save it and come back at a later date to submit it. Saved applications are valid for the current enrollment period.
